Process mechanic for plastics/India rubber, in the subject area of components

Do you enjoy challenges of a technical and craftsmanship nature? Then apply at HoKa as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology specialised in components.

Training contents
The 3-year training course is organised into two sections. During the first year, you will learn important basics, and in the second year you will acquire specific knowledge in the subject area of components.

Included in the essential training subjects are:

  • Production procedure in plastics technology: manufacturing pipeline parts and systems of polymeric materials, producing components and assemblies
  • Measuring and control technology: setting up the machines and systems for the manufacture, monitoring the production process, checking the quality of the components, maintenance of the components
  • Material science
  • Environmental protection and job safety

Perspectives:
After your training, you will be optimally prepared for your professional future. You will have acquired extensive knowledge of the production procedure in the plastics trade and will be able to work in different company departments. You will have optimal opportunities in companies of the plastics and rubber processing industry who manufacture pipeline and component systems as well as in pipeline construction companies.

If you want to further improve your occupational perspectives, you can continue your training to be a qualified foreman or technician, or complete a course of studies in plastics technology.

During your training as process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology in the subject area of forming, you will learn how to manufacture different workpieces and fittings made of polymeric materials.

Training contents:
The 3-year training course is organised into two sections. During the first year, you will learn important basics, and in the second year, you will acquire specific knowledge in the subject area of forming.

 

Included in the essential training subjects are:

  • production procedure in plastics technology: manufacturing of workpieces and fittings made of polymeric materials, selecting suitable production procedures and materials
  • measuring and control technology: setting up the machines and systems for the manufacture, monitoring the production process, checking the quality and maintaining the fittings
  • material science
  • environmental protection and job safety

Perspectives:
After your training, you will have optimal future perspectives: You will have extensive knowledge of the production procedure in the plastics trade and will be able to work in different company departments. You will be able to work in companies of the plastics and rubber processing industry as well as in companies of the chemical industry (with a manufacturer of primary plastics, for example).

If you want to further improve your occupational perspectives, you can continue your training to be a qualified foreman or technician, or complete a course of studies in plastics technology.

Industrial sales clerk

A versatile 3-year training for anyone wanting to gain important experiences in the different divisions of our company.

Training contents:

From sales and marketing to materials management and human resources on to the bookkeeping department and accountancy - you will go through all commercial departments in our company whilst receiving in short order an impression of widely differing areas of responsibilities. During your training you will acquire important experience and become familiar with the diversity of the profession.

Amongst other things, you will learn:

  • materials management purchasing raw materials and resources, checking supplier invoices
  • stock control receiving and checking deliveries
  • production: monitoring current production
  • marketing / sales: planning and implementing advertising campaigns
  • accountancy and bookkeeping: creating calculations and price lists, posting supplier invoices
  • marketing: advising customers, preparing offers and processing orders
  • human resource management: management of working time accounts, drawing up payroll accounting

Perspectives:
After your training you will have sound commercial skills and will have become familiar with the essential divisions of our company. As an industrial sales clerk it you can work in nearly any economic sector and can be deployed in various departments.

After your final qualification, you can improve your opportunities with a further education - such as with a business administrator training in different areas of speciality or with an extra occupational advanced training to be a business administrator.

Prerequisites:

  • secondary education, advanced technical certificate or A level equivalent
  • good written and spoken English language skills
  • dedication and relational skills
  • practised computer skills (MS Office)
  • previous commercial skills of advantage

 

 

Specialist for warehouse logistics

You enjoy lending a hand and would like to know how goods handling and goods storage function within a company?

Training contents:
In your 3-year training, you will learn how to handle goods professionally. You will be prepared on how to hand over goods in stock to forwarding companies and freight carriers, or how to forward goods to the corresponding departments in the company.

Included in the essential training subjects are:

  • handling goods in stock: receiving deliveries, storage, picking, packing as well as the dispatching goods in stock
  • goods inspection and quality assurance measures
  • operational organisation and communication
  • job safety
  • health protection and environmental protection

Perspectives:
After your training you will be able to work at forwarding companies and other logistics service providers as well as in industrial and commercial companies in various economic sectors. If you want to secure even better future opportunities, you can extend your training by one year and receive further training as a specialist for warehouse logistics.
